Feature Grain is a small local run business that is based in Traralgon South, with a passion to create beautiful functional furniture and cabinetry. I take great pride in my work to deliver a high quality finish using only quality materials and products.
My name is Jason Pass and I established Feature Grain in 2015, after relocating from Melbourne to Traralgon Sth. for a change in pace and lifestyle. I have spent the past 29 years in the building industry as a joiner/cabinet maker in both the domestic and commercial sides of the industry.
RECYCLED HARDWOOD TIMBER
I reclaim timber from local sources around Gippsland which has had a previous life and interesting back-story, I then machine and revitalise the timber before creating a unique hard-wearing piece. No two items are ever exactly the same. Recycled hardwood timber has some really amazing character and unique features that you just can't get in newer timbers available today.
